Performing company and industry research
Creating detailed financial analyses
Assisting in the preparation of merger and acquisition transaction materials, such as confidential information memorandums and management presentations
Assisting in the execution of capital raising transactions, including the drafting of private placement memorandums
Preparing due diligence materials, including the management of virtual data rooms
Assisting in the drafting, analysis and negotiation of indications of interest and letters of intent for both sell-side and buy-side transactions
Reviewing acquisition documents, including purchase agreements
Supporting other transaction-related activities as needed
Two to four years of work experience in investment banking, valuation advisory, financial consulting, accounting, or turnaround management
Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or other business discipline
Extensive financial modeling and valuation experience
Results oriented with a high level of integrity
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Outstanding written and oral communications skills
INTERNSHIPS
Internships are often the first step into corporate culture, a first glimpse into life after graduation. At DPP, we have invested in our internship program over the years in order to provide students the opportunity to develop skills vital to a successful career and work directly with our team of experts to learn teamwork and communication.
Completing intern work plan (see below)
Performing various financial modeling exercises to refine skillsets
Participating in client conference calls and meetings, as appropriate
Performing company and industry research
Assisting investment bankers in the various aspects of preparation of merger and acquisition transaction materials, as needed
Researching potential partners and buyers for various M&A transactions, as needed
Preparing due diligence materials, including the management of virtual data rooms
Supporting other transaction-related activities as needed
Exceptional academic record at a top university
Pursuing undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or other business discipline
Strong interest in investment banking and global markets
Prior financial modeling and valuation experience
Results oriented with a high level of integrity
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Outstanding written and oral communications skills
