Current Experience

At Donnelly Penman & Partners, Mr. Lail specializes in merger and acquisition transactions, valuations, financial advisory, fairness opinions, and due diligence services, with a focus on financial institutions.

Past Experience

Prior to joining DPP, Mr. Lail was a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Investigations & Forensics practice, where he focused on government contracts consulting. His work included advising clients on pursuing federal funding opportunities, such as those available under the CHIPS and Science Act, and assisting U.S. federal defense contractors with business system and organizational model assessments to address complex regulatory requirements.

Education & Credentials

Mr. Lail earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University and a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Michigan.
