THE TRANSACTION
Russel Metals completed the acquisition of JMS in September 2007. The transaction provides Russel Metals with access to JMS’ value-added processing services, and expands Russel Metals’ presence and customer base within the United States.

JMS provides a wide variety of complex, precision value-added processing services to meet each customer’s specifications and to deliver products to fabricators, manufacturers and multiple other end users.
JMS operates eight strategically located processing and distribution facilities in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee. This broad geographic footprint allows JMS to focus on regional customers and larger multi-location accounts, primarily located throughout the Midwestern and Southern United States.
