THE TRANSACTION
In May 2018, Alex Products, a leading supplier of complex, welded assemblies used in seating related applications for the automotive market, was acquired by North American Stamping Group (“NASG”).
Alex Products has more than 30 years of experience as a leader in safety critical seat structures and components. Alex Products’ vertical integration, including complete in-house design, build and integration for tooling and gages; expertise in wire and tube bending, MIG and resistance welding, and automated assembly; and powder coat & e-coat capabilities enable it to deliver high quality product solutions to its customers.
The combined companies will operate ten manufacturing facilities, two technical centers, and one sales office, with more than 1.6 million square feet, 2,000 associates and $450 million in annual sales.
