HCI Equity has sold Terra Drive Systems, Inc. to a Private Investment Group

On August 17, 2022, HCI Equity Partners (“HCI”), a leading lower middle market private equity firm focused on partnering with family and founder owned manufacturing, service and distribution companies, announced that it has sold its portfolio company Terra Drive Systems, Inc. (“TDS”), a leading global manufacturer of steerable hydraulic drive solutions used in the agricultural, medium and heavy-duty truck, and specialty vocational vehicle markets.

TDS has been an innovator of powered, steerable axles for over 46 years, providing high quality products and reliable, responsive service to its long-term, blue chip customer base. The Company’s product portfolio includes some of the strongest brands in its sectors, including the Mud Hog brand, a recognized leader in the agricultural market, and the EZ Trac brand focused on drive assist systems in the vocational truck market.

Under new ownership, TDS is well positioned to execute on its strategic plan and continue to create value for its employees, customers, and communities.
